Bariatric surgery is not an inpatient weight loss method. Surgery is just the beginning. It allows you to easily lose the weight that you cannot lose by diet or other methods. So will I gain weight again? If you do not change your lifestyle in the long term (right diet and activity), you unfortunately run the risk of gaining weight again .

  • Have 2-2.5 hours between meals.
  • Do not consume solid and liquid foods at the same time.
  • You can eat fruit puree, except for sour and acidic fruits.
  • Consume less salt

  • Eat in small portions.
  • Tarhana soup, lentil soup, vegetable soup, etc. you can consume.
  • Do not consume rice, pasta, raw vegetables and nuts for the first three months.

Strict Diet Period After Bariatric Surgery

A solid diet period begins about 1 month after the sleeve gastrectomy operation . Now the patient has gained the habit of chewing in the pastry period. This period is very important for the patient to stay fit. During the strict diet period :

  • Consume fiber-containing products along with regular foods.
  • Prefer cheese and eggs in the morning, legumes, vegetables, meat, chicken, fish in the afternoon and evening.
  • You can start drinking decaf coffee.
  • Drink as much water as the amount of coffee you drink.
  • Tomato paste, raw vegetables, garlic, etc. without the recommendation of a dietitian. Do not consume foods.
